As a natural born Medium, Intuitive, and Empath, I've been drawn to energy and energy healing all my life. Although I had these abilities, it wasn't until I took my first Usui Reiki class as an adult that really opened my eyes to different experiences and thirst for knowledge about what was happening and figuring out what my life's purpose was. From that point on, I studied with various teachers and learned energy modalities, like continuing on to Usui Reiki Master/Teacher level, Melchizedek Method Healing, Energy Clearing & Alignment. All that culminated in a solid knowing that helping others bridge the gap between energy and how to use it to assist our human bodies to heal themselves was my mission.
After doing this work for over 15 years, there still felt like a piece was missing that would really tie everything together. While on vacation a few years ago, I visited Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. Spa in Virginia Beach, VA, and had an incredible massage experience. Fascinated with how the massage therapist, Meagan, was able to connect with my energy, I asked Meagan what techniques she used and where she learned them. Meagan said she went to the Cayce/Reilly School of Massage on the A.R.E. campus. It was an epiphany for me and I went back to my hotel, checked out the school's website, and registered that day.
If you're unfamiliar with Edgar Cayce and his work, he's a 20th Century Psychic, Medical Clairvoyant, and the Father of Holistic Medicine. Learning about his therapies and having a spiritual component incorporated into the curriculum were the main distinctions and reasons I chose this school over other massage schools. It was the missing piece I had been searching for that tied together all my other abilities and healing training.
I've also graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and San Jose State University (B.S. in Business Management). As a member of Lois Hermann & Associates since 2020, I use my mediumship gifts and abilities to focus on clearing energy for clients and helping them to reconnect to their own spiritual gifts. My passion is alternative healing methods and modalities and I'm currently working toward her National Board Reflexology certification.
Since graduating from massage school, I have been working in various environments from spas to in-home mobile medical massage specifically for Veterans. This work is so rewarding and it truly makes my heart smile to see how much better people feel after a massage, following their progression and bearing witness to how their quality of life has improved with better quality of sleep, less stress, mood shifts, and the ability to resume daily activities.
All these experiences have helped me connect with the energy of each person I work with to design massage sessions that assist in achieving a client's short and long-term goals for overall health and well-being. This type of personalized therapy is empowering and catapults the client's self-care journey.
In my spare time, I enjoy being creative with mixed media art projects, connecting with like-minded people, and spending time with family.
